Are you looking for an interesting post-graduation opportunity? 
The St. Joseph Worker Program is for you! 

St. Joseph Worker volunteers commit a year of service exploring justice, leadership for social change, spirituality, intentional community, living simply, and developing skills by: 

Working with diverse communities, addressing the needs of the poor and marginalized in CSJ Ministries and the broader community. 
Volunteer serve at placement sites in the fields of education, social service and health care. (See Placement Sites page for more information.

Being mentored into leadership for social and spiritual transformation through:
  • A 36 hour per week work placement
  • Monthly Training Opportunities 
  • Developing networking and community building skills 
  • Graduate or undergraduate course credits at Fontbonne University

Deepening spirituality supported by the Sisters of St. Joseph through:
  • Spiritual development opportunities
  • Weekly “Sharing of the Heart” gatherings
  • Retreats
  • Spiritual direction

Developing intentional community with a focus on living simply. to help support this, the program provides:
  • Room and Board
  • Housing with other St. Joseph Workers
  • Health insurance options
  • Transportation to and from placement sites
  • Monthly stipends
  • Potential AmeriCorps Educational Award and loan deferment options
